Suspect Sought for Stolen Vehicle, Hit and Run

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the male in the photo who stole a vehicle and was involved in a hit and run last week.

At 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, the suspect stole an idling car from a parking lot of a laundromat in the 1300 block of North 25^th Street. The suspect drove the stolen vehicle for several blocks before colliding with three parked cars in the 1200 block of North 26^th Street. He fled the area on foot westbound on R Street towards N. 25^th St.

The video shows the shirtless suspect walking through the laundromat and then entering the vehicle and driving away.
