Suspect Sought in P Street Homicide

The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in last week’s homicide in the city’s Church Hill neighborhood.
Keith L. Epps, 40, of the 1100 block of North 34th Street is wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of Michael Allen that occurred on Sunday, August 26 in the 3000 block of P Street.

Epps is approximately 5’8” tall and weighs 230 lbs. with a muscular build. He has tattoo on his left arm that says “K Boogie” and a tattoo on his right arm that says “Lil Keith.” His photo is attached.

At approximately 5:19 p.m., on Sunday, August 26, RPD officers were called to the 3000 block of P Street for the report of a shooting. After they arrived, they located Michael Allen, 41, of the 3000 block of P Street lying in the grass between two apartment buildings. He’d been shot.

Allen was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
