Suspects Sought in Theft from Motor Vehicle and Credit Card Fraud

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the individuals in the photos who are believed to be suspects in a theft from a motor vehicle and credit card fraud.

On Thursday, August 23, a victim reported her vehicle was broken into in the 1700 block of Hampton Street. The victim reported that cash and several credit cards were stolen. Later that day, surveillance video shows four suspects purchasing a handbag with the stolen credit card at the Dillard’s at Short Pump Town Center. Shortly after, two additional suspects are seen on surveillance purchasing another handbag with a stolen card.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about these individual’s identifies to call Third Precinct Detective H. Truong at (804) 646-1067 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
