About a month after the
Richmond Police Department announced they were looking for a city woman who
went missing, she has been found safe.
Candis H. Bellah, 32, of
the 3800 block of Chamberlayne Avenue, was last seen in Washington,
D.C. on Monday, March 16.
After conducting a nationwide search,
RPD Detective A. Darnell tracked down Bellah in the Washington D.C.
area. In spite of several dead-ends, Det. Darnell, wouldn’t give up. He spoke
to people all over the United States.
“It was amazing to see how much
effort he put into a missing person’s case,” said Major Crimes Lieutenant
Lisa Watson. “He proved he really cared about Ms. Bellah and her
well-being.”
