Richmond Police
detectives are currently investigating an assault and robbery that occurred
last week at the circle at Monument Avenue and Allen Avenue.
At approximately
10:20 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15 two victims were reportedly robbed after being
at the circle at Monument Avenue and Allen Avenue. One victim was
carrying a rifle. An argument started and both victims were assaulted. A
suspect then chased one victim, displayed a handgun, and demanded the victim to
drop the rifle. The victim complied and the two then fled the area. Both
victims suffered non-life threatening injuries.
