At approximately 11:37 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to the 100 block of Erich Road for the report of a person down. Once on scene, officers located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced on scene.
Members of the Major Crimes Division, Forensics,
the Medical Examiner, Chief Gerald Smith, Major Spence Cochran, Third Precinct
leadership and members of the Command Staff all responded.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of
death.
