Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in last week’s homicide on Chapel Drive as Karl McBride, 20, of Richmond.
On Friday, July 16 at approximately 5:44 a.m., officers were called to the 3300 block of Chapel Drive for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found two adult males suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. One victim, Karl McBride, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second male was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.
