Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in last Tuesday’s homicide on R Street as Tyree Carroll, 31, of Richmond.
At approximately 5:17 p.m., July 27, officers were called to the 1900 block of R Street for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found an adult male, Carroll, on the ground suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
