Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in a
homicide that occurred this morning in the Fulton neighborhood as Tychelle
Johnson, 25, of the 1400 block of Jennie Scher Road.
At approximately 1:38 a.m., officers were called to the 1500
block of Jennie Scher Road for a report of a person shot. Officers found
Johnson’s body inside the residence. She had suffered apparent gunshot wounds
and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second adult male victim suffering from an apparent
gunshot wound was also located. He was transported to a local hospital for
treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are actively pursuing all available leads in the
case and continue to gather information about the incident.
