Suspect Sought in Chamberlayne Avenue Commercial Burglaries

Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the man in the attached photos, who is a suspect in three burglaries that occurred last month along the Chamberlayne Avenue corridor.

Just after 5 a.m. on November 3, officers were called to the Coin Laundry, located at 2905 Chamberlayne Avenue, for a report of a break-in in progress. They arrived to find the front door of the business ajar. Nothing was taken.

A short time later at 5:40 a.m., a burglar alarm sounded at BeautiFull, located at 1801 Chamberlayne Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed the glass door had been shattered. Electric hair clippers were among the items taken.

About a week later at approximately 4:30 a.m. on November 12, officers responded to a burglar alarm at BeautiFull, located at 1801 Chamberlayne Avenue. They arrived the find the glass door had been smashed. Items take from the business include electric hair clippers and other electric hair tools. 

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’8” – 6’ tall with an average build. He may be wearing Nike Air Force One shoes, which are black with a white sole. (See stock image below.)
