A pedestrian struck in a fatal crash that occurred yesterday
night in the 5200 block of Hull Street Road has been identified.
At approximately 5:36 p.m., a 2001 Hyundai Accent traveling
eastbound on Hull Street Road struck a pedestrian as she was walking southbound
in the 5200 block of Hull Street Road. The pedestrian, Betty A. McMillan,
74, of the 5300 block of Hull Street Road, was pronounced dead at the
scene.
The RPD Crash Team responded to the scene, where they took
measurements and interviewed witnesses. Police are still investigating.
