Fairfax Avenue shooting suspect Raymond Fitzgerald is in police custody.Second Precinct officers alerted to his warrants on file arrested Fitzgerald around midnight during a traffic stop at Albany Avenue and Jefferson Davis Highway.
Fitzgerald, 27, of the 1800 block of Idlewood Avenue is charged with malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, a male was involved in an argument with known individuals in front of 1710 Fairfax Ave. The victim was shot during the argument.
