Richmond Police is asking for the public’s help in locating 25-year-old Naquan Shemel Wright. He is wanted in connection with a shooting this afternoon in the Hillside Court community.Wright, of the 300 block of East 19th Street, has a felony warrant on file for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He also is known to stay in the 7600 block of Bleasco Drive in Chesterfield.
Around 4 p.m., Richmond Police officers received a call for a shooting in the 1700 block of Rosecrest Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a male shooting victim. He was taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Anyone with information about Wright’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
