Arrest Made in Yorktown Avenue Homicide

The Richmond Police Department has made an arrest in yesterday's homicide.

Shortly after officers arrived on scene of the shooting in the 2400 block of Yorktown Avenue, detectives questioned a person of interest in the case and made an arrest.

Detectives arrested Darryl A. Greaves, 32, of the 2400 block of Yorktown Avenue and charged him with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and shooting into an occupied dwelling. After consultation with the Commonwealth Attorney's Office, additional indictments will be sought against Greaves. Greaves' photo is attached.

Detectives are not actively looking for additional suspects at this time.
