Man Arrested for Robberies & Attempted Robbery

Richmond Police officers have arrested the man responsible for robbing and trying to rob several businesses in the area earlier this week.

Robert C. Hylton, 42, of Chesterfield, has been charged with the Nov. 2 attempted robbery of the Baskin-Robins at 6940 Forest Hill Avenue and the robbery of the Martin’s at 3000 Stony Point Road that same evening.

Chesterfield Police have also charged Hylton with the Nov. 2 robbery of Family Dollar at 8501 Midlothian Turnpike and last night’s robbery of the Donut Connection at 7021 Hull Street Road.


Richmond Police officers located and arrested Hylton in the 2000 block of Maury Street last night.
