Three Arrests Made in VCU-Area Robbery

Richmond Police detectives have identified and arrested three juveniles in connection with the assault and robbery of a man near VCU last week.

At approximately 1:50 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, a man reported three unknown males assaulted and robbed him in an alley in the 1000 block of West Grace Street.

After further investigation, detectives identified four persons of interest and thanks to good investigative work and the public’s help, they were able to identify all of the individuals.

Today, they arrested a 13-year-old male, a 14-year-old male and a 16-year-old male and charged each of them with robbery and malicious wounding in connection with the crime.
