Police Third Precinct Town Hall Meeting
WHEN: Thursday, April 12 6 – 8 p.m.
WHERE: First Baptist Church, 2709 Monument Avenue
BACKGROUND:
RPD Chief Alfred Durham will being his series of four town hall meetings with Third
Precinct on Thursday evening. This is part of his ongoing effort to
inform the public about his vision for policing in Richmond.
“The Chief’s Town Hall
meeting is a great way to have your voice heard,” said Third Precinct
Captain Christopher Gleason. “One of the fundamental principles of
community policing is to have a direct dialogue between citizens and the
police. Chief Durham embraces that concept and each year creates the
opportunity for citizens to speak directly with him.”
There will be one town
hall meeting in each of the Department’s four precincts.
