Pedestrian Struck on North Boulevard

The Richmond Police Department’s Special Operations Divisions-Traffic Crash Team is investigating an incident that occurred early this morning in which a pedestrian was struck on North Boulevard.

At approximately 3:54 a.m., a Chevrolet Impala was traveling southbound in the 100 block of North Boulevard near Floyd Avenue and struck a pedestrian that was believed to be lying in the roadway. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.

Investigators with the RPD Crash Team responded to the scene where they took measurements and interviewed the driver. The crash remains under investigation.
