Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspect in the attached photo who is wanted for a commercial robbery of The Family Dollar that occurred last week.
At
approximately 4:05 p.m. on Monday, July 2, an unknown male entered the Family
Dollar at 7 East 16th Street. The suspect approached the employee,
handed her a bag with a note demanding money, and stated he had a weapon. A
weapon was never displayed. The employee complied and the suspect left with an
undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled on foot and was last seen walking
southbound on East 16th Street toward Decatur Street.
The
suspect is described as a black male with a moustache. He was last seen wearing
a white towel over his head, a black scarf around his face, a white long sleeve
thermal shirt, and dark pants.
