Richmond Police need the public’s help in providing information regarding a fatal hit and run of a cyclist that occurred yesterday afternoon in the city’s south side.
At approximately 1:58 p.m., yesterday, officers responded to the 5200 block of Hull Street Road for the report of a cyclist hit. The cyclist was reportedly traveling east on Hull Street Road toward Warwick Road when a vehicle described as a blue sedan struck the cyclist and fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital. He succumbed to his injuries several hours later.
