Detectives Seek to Identify Person near Recent Crime Scene

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the man in the attached photos who was seen minutes before a homicide that occurred on Fairmount Avenue last month.

Just before 11:30 p.m., this man was seen walking into a convenience store in the 1200 block of Mosby Street the night of the homicide. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt with the words “Born Fly” on the front.

At approximately 11:37 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, officers received a call for a person shot in the 1200 block of North 19th Street. When police arrived, they located an adult male suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Shortly after, officers located Curtison J. Murray, 29, of the 2500 block of Noel Street in an alley in the 1900 block of Fairmount Avenue. Murray was pronounced at the scene
