The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim in last week’s homicide near Jefferson Davis Highway as Samuel Flaugher, 19, of the 4200 block of Creek Way, Chester.
At approximately 9
p.m. on Monday, April 15, officers were called to the 4000 block of
Meridian Avenue for the report of a person shot. Officers responded and
found Flaugher suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to
a local hospital with injuries that were considered life threatening. He
succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, April 18.
