The
Richmond Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred earlier
this week on the city’s south side.
At approximately 9:49 p.m.,
Tuesday, November 19, RPD officers were called to the 2900 block of
Jefferson Davis Highway to investigate a report of a person shot. When they
arrived, they quickly located the body of Carlos D. Delgado, 65, of the 2900
block of Jefferson Davis Highway lying in the doorway of his home. He had
been shot.
There is no suspect description to
share at this time.
