The Richmond Police Department’s Special Operations Division-Traffic Crash Team is investigating a severe crash that occurred Sunday morning in the city’s Southside.
At approximately 2:20 a.m., November 3, 2019, two pedestrians, a male and female, walking northbound in the 4200 block of Kinsley Avenue, were struck from behind by a dark colored sedan also heading northbound. The driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene.
The pedestrians were transported to a local hospital where they are being treated for severe injuries sustained in the crash. The male pedestrian is listed in life-threatening condition.
