The
Richmond Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred last week
in the city’s east end.
At
approximately 1:18 p.m., Thursday, June 25th, RPD officers were called to the
2600 block of Ford Avenue for a report of a person who had been shot. When they
arrived, they found an adult male outside on the ground with multiple gunshot
wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:22 p. m.
The
victim has been identified as Dominic Thompson, 31, of Richmond.
