Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in Thursday’s homicide on Jefferson Davis Highway as Eusebio Calderon, a male in his sixties.
At approximately 4:40 a.m. on Thursday, December 31, officers
responded to the 2900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway for the report of
a person shot. Once on scene, they found Eusebio Calderon suffering life
threatening injuries from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a
local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause and manner
of death.
