Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in last night’s homicide on Stockton Street as Sara Andrews, a female in her twenties.
At approximately 8:48 p.m. yesterday, officers responded to the 3300 block of Stockton Street for the report of a person down. When officers arrived, they found Sara Andrews suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of
death.
