Yesterday at approximately 6:20 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Gilmer Street for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and located a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, but has not yet been identified.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
