Richmond Police Department detectives have identified the person fatally shot on Sunday as a juvenile male, 17.
Sunday at approximately 6:20 p.m., officers were called to the 400 block of Gilmer Street for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and located the juvenile suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, down and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
