Detectives have identified the individual who died in a shooting that occurred in the Westover neighborhood this month.
At approximately 8:38 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, Daveon Elliott, 18, of Richmond, was transported to a local hospital by personal vehicle. Elliott was suffering from a gunshot wound and succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival at the hospital.
Detectives have determined Elliott was shot while in the 5800 block of Larrymore Road and are still seeking information on the circumstances of the incident.
