At approximately 4:11 a.m., Richmond Police officers responded to the report of random gunfire in the 2400 block of Northumberland Avenue. Officers arrived and found one adult male deceased from an apparent gunshot wound and an adult female with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. She was transported to a medical facility for treatment of her injury.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death of the adult male.
