Fatal Collision Involving Pedestrian at Maury Street and 19th Street January 10, 2026 The Richmond Police Department Crash Team is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred at the intersection of Maury Street and 19th Street. At approximately 7:40 p.m., officers were notified of a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on Maury St. Officers located an adult female in the roadway unresponsive. The individual was transported for medical treatment, where they were later pronounced deceased. The driver of the involved vehicle remained on the scene. At this time, charges have not yet been placed. The investigation continues. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact RPD Crash Team Investigator D.
