Injuries to Passenger Prove Fatal in Warwick Road Collision
On Wednesday, a juvenile male, 8, a passenger injured in a two-vehicle collision on Warwick Road last week, succumbed to his injury while in a local hospital. The Richmond Police Department Crash Team is investigating this fatal collision.
At approximately 10:38 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, officers were called to the 3900 block of Warwick Road, at the intersection with Hopkins Road, for the report of a two-vehicle collision. Officers arrived and found two juvenile male passengers injured in one of the involved vehicles. They were transported to a local hospital. One juvenile had injuries that were considered life threatening. One juvenile had injuries that were not considered life threatening. The adult male driver of that vehicle was not injured. The adult female driver and sole occupant of the other vehicle was not injured.
The RPD Crash Team responded to the scene to conduct the investigation. The investigation continues.
