Shortly after 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, officers were called to a shooting in the 1300 block of Drewry Street. Officers found two males suffering with gunshot wounds. They were taken to a local hospital. One victim had an injury that was not considered life threatening. The other victim, a juvenile male in his late teens died at the hospital.
The
Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
A third
male was injured near the scene when the vehicle he was driving crashed. He
also was taken to a local hospital with an injury that was not considered life
threatening.
