The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim in this morning’s homicide as Rolando Maldonado-Ortega, a male in his 40s.
At approximately 12:06 a.m.
today, officers received a call for trouble unknown in the 1700 block of
Clarkson Road. When officers arrived, they found Rolando
Maldonado-Ortega suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a
local hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.
