The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating the suspect in a shooting last weekend.
Sayvon A. Knight has an outstanding warrant for possession of a firearm by a felon in relation to the shooting. Additional charges are pending. A photo of him is attached. Knight currently has a shaved head.
Around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, officers responded to the 4000 block of Midlothian Turnpike for a report of a person shot. Once on scene, they found an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
