Richmond Police detectives need the public’s
help to identify the man in the attached photos who is suspected of robbing two
businesses last night.
The first robbery occurred at the 7-Eleven convenience store at 2922
Jefferson Davis Highway
at approximately 5 p.m. A few hours later, a man robbed
the McDonald’s at 6850 Forest Hill Ave.
at approximately 7:40 p.m. Though
the robber did not display a weapon in either crime, he implied that he had
one.
Detectives believe the same man committed both
robberies. The man in both robberies is described as a dark-skinned black male
in his mid-30s, weighing approximately 200 to 220 pounds, with a low hair cut,
no facial hair and a medium to heavy build.
The man was seen leaving the scene of both
incidents driving a brown-colored SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer or Expedition.
