Indictment for West Graham Road Homicide
Willie Daquan Lee, 18, of the 3900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue, has been indicted for the murder of a Virginia Union University student that occurred on West Graham Road in February. His photo is attached.
Today, after several weeks of intensive investigation, Richmond Police Department Detective Amira Sleem presented the Department's case before the Multi-Jurisdictional Grand Jury, which resulted in several indictments, including four involving the shooting death of Kahron M. Lee, no relation.
On March 11, Willie Lee was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal's Regional Fugitive Task Force and held on unrelated charges. Lee remains in custody.
The Virginia Union University Police Department's Investigative Division assisted in this investigation.
Willie Lee has been charged with first-degree murder, robbery and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
The investigation is ongoing.
