North Hopkins Road Death Investigation
The Richmond Police Department is in the early stages of a death investigation in Second Precinct.
At approximately 8:39 a.m. today, officers received a call from a passerby who had found the body of an adult black female in a wooded area northwest of the 3700 block of North Hopkins Road.
Detectives are currently collecting evidence and canvassing the area for information. The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death.
