Richmond Police detectives are in the early stages of a
homicide investigation on the city's Southside.
At approximately 11:34
p.m. Saturday, officers received a call for a person shot in the 6300 block of Midlothian
Turnpike.
Officers arrived on scene within a minute and found an adult
male who was apparently shot. He died at the scene.
Detectives are currently canvassing the area, speaking with
witnesses and gathering evidence.
