Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to
identify a person of interest in the below photos in connection with two
crimes involving firearms in the city’s East End.
At approximately 10
p.m. on Sept. 5 in the 2200 block of East Broad Street, an unknown male
robbed two women at gunpoint before fleeing the scene in a silver, four-door
sedan. The suspect had a white sweater wrapped around his hand and indicated he
had a gun.
At approximately 2:30
a.m. on Sept. 11 in the 2200 block of East Cary Street, an unknown male
brandished a firearm and threatened to shoot a man who was walking down the
street. The suspect had a white piece of clothing wrapped around his hand and a
white shirt wrapped around his face.
Based on incident details and the suspect’s description as a
black male with a box-style haircut, detectives believe it was the same person.
