The Richmond Police Department has arrested a man for a fatal shooting during a robbery earlier this week.
Quinshawn M. Futrell, 19, of the 400 block of W. Duval St.,
was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force last night. Futrell is
currently charged with Malicious Wounding, Robbery, Use of a Firearm in the
Commission of a Malicious Wounding, Use of a Firearm in a Robbery, and
Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
The shooting occurred at approximately 8:42 a.m., Wed.,
Dec. 9, in an alley near the 1200 block of Hickory Street. The victim, Louis
R. Bullock, 21, of the 300 block of Avondale Road, Portsmouth, VA was shot
multiple times. He was taken to a local hospital with severe, life-threatening
injuries.
