Suspect Sought in Commercial Robbery

The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in a robbery that occurred today at a gas station convenience store in Richmond. Detectives believe this same suspect is possibly responsible for several similar robberies that have occurred from Richmond to Washington D.C.

At approximately 12:35 p.m., a male entered the Circle K convenience store, located at the Exxon gas station at 2753 W. Broad St.  The male brandished a handgun and stole cash from the employee.

He fled on foot. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, 35-40 years old, approximately six feet tall and weighs approximately 150-160 pounds. He has brown hair and short facial hair. His photo is attached.
