The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim of this morning’s homicide in the Bellemeade neighborhood as Stephon B. Clarke, 33, of the 1300 block of Minefee Street.
At
approximately 2:36 a.m. this morning, a call was received for random gunfire in
the 1400 block of Drewry Street. First and Second Precinct officers arrived on
scene where they found Clarke unconscious and suffering from apparent gunshot
wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The
Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
