The Richmond Police Crash Team is investigating a traffic fatality that occurred this morning in the 700 block of East Broad Street.
This morning at approximately 6:57 a.m., officers were called to the 700 block of East Broad Street for the report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian. Officers arrived and found the adult male pedestrian down.
He was transported to a local hospital for treatment where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
Several vehicles were involved, the drivers were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
