The Richmond Police Crash Team is investigating a traffic fatality that occurred this evening in the 1700 block of East Broad Street.
Today at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers were called to the 1700 block of East Broad Street for the report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian. Officers arrived and found the adult female pedestrian down.
She was transported to a local hospital for treatment where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
