Richmond Kickers to Join Community Pop-Up Series in Southwood
WHAT: Come to the latest Community Pop-Up event on Thursday with special guests – members of the Richmond Kickers!
Several players and staff from the popular soccer club will be in attendance early Thursday evening in the Southwood neighborhood as the collaboration with city agencies, non-profit organizations and federal law enforcement partners continues to bring fun activities and chances for agency stakeholders to engage with the public.
This event will be slightly different – with the Richmond Kickers on hand to give skills and training tips to the youth in attendance! The Richmond Kickers continue to be leaders in community engagement in Richmond and the RPD is thrilled with their participation on Thursday!
In these events held throughout the year, neighborhood residents are invited to connect to free family assistance and services and meet bi-lingual members of the community. Those who attend the Pop-Up can learn about available resources like advocacy support, emergency services, finance and banking, and emergency health care services.
Don’t forget – the excitement continues at 6 p.m. on Saturday at City Stadium as the Richmond Kickers host South Georgia Tormenta FC. Get tickets: https://www.richmondkickers.com/2023-schedule/
