Victim Identified in Phaup Street Homicide
Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim of the homicide in an apartment on Phaup Street last night as Antione Christian, 23, of Richmond.
At approximately 9:39 p.m., officers were called to the 2100 block of Phaup Street for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found an adult male, Christian, in an apartment down and unresponsive. He had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. Life-saving measures were attempted by officers and units of the Richmond Ambulance Authority but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
