Victim Identified in Mechanicsville Turnpike Homicide
Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in the homicide that occurred on Mechanicsville Turnpike on Tuesday as Terrell Hancock, 24, of Chesterfield.
On Tuesday at approximately 12:45 a.m., officers responded to the sound of gunfire in the 1500 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike. Once on scene, officers located an adult male, Hancock, down and unresponsive on a walkway at the front of a building. He had suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
