Two Suspects Arrested in Coalter Street Homicide
Investigation
Richmond Police detectives, with the assistance of
the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force, have made two arrests in the
homicide that occurred in May on Coalter Street.
The following individuals have been arrested and
charged with murder and use of a firearm in relation to this homicide:
Michael Caballero, 32, of Richmond, arrested by
the U.S. Marshals on September 11, and served with his indictments on September
30. His booking photo is attached.
Brian Jackson, 32, of Lexington SC, was arrested in Newport News, Virginia by the Newport News Police
Department on August 19, and served with his indictments on August 20. His
booking photo is attached.
At approximately 2:05
a.m., Saturday, May 31, officers were called to the 1300 block of
Coalter Street for the report of a person down. Officers arrived and located an adult male, K-Ron
Washington, 31, of Richmond, down on the ground with apparent gunshot
wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his
injuries and was pronounced dead.
